Miracle After Miracle
Wildcat Weekly 4/21/17
StarLab, Thursday 4/27, 7:00
Next week our students are going to have the great opportunity to visit a traveling planetarium right here on our stage. We will be using it throughout the week to teach about our solar system. Our parents as well as community members are welcome to come out on Thursday evening at 7:00 to view inside the planetarium as well. This is being done in preparation for the total solar eclipse that will be visible on our campus on August 21. We will have more activities planned for the students on that day as well.
There are DVDs of our musical, Miracle After Miracle, including our blooper reel in the school office. You can purchase a copy for $5. This covers the cost of the disc and the case.
4-H Flower Sales
The G.J. Beavers are again selling tickets for flowers at McNitt Growers. They are still $14 like in years past. The only difference is that we will not be hosting an onsite sale. Ticket buyers will need to go to the nursery to pick out their flowers. Please see a 4-H member (The Halls, Paul Heine, or the McNitts), call, or stop in the school office office to purchase tickets.
I have already mentioned that we are changing the date that our children are singing in church in April to April 30. This is because we are hoping that you will all stay around after the service to enjoy some fellowship at an Italian luncheon. Lunch will include an Italian bake, salad, roll, and dessert. We will be taking a free-will offering to help support struggling families with their tuition payments. Thrivent will be sponsoring the meal, so your donation will be able to go straight to helping. Hope you can stick around and enjoy some good food and welcoming fellowship.

After School Care
Mrs. Kettner is doing our after school care this year. If you need to contact her, please try both the school number (in case she is in the gym) and/or her cell number 618-534-6526 (in case she is outside). Pleaqse send a note if you know in advance that you child(ren) will be going home a different way than usual. Thank you for your help in making her job easier.
PTL Sign Up Sheets
The sign up sheet for parent volunteers at our PTL functions are available on the bulletin board in the front hallway. Each family needs to sign up to help with at least one activity. There are limited spots so the sooner you sign up for your event the better.
