To See A Miracle
Wildcat Weekly 3/16/18
Trivia Night Tonight
The School Board will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day themed Trivia Night tonight, Friday, March 16. Questioning will start at 7:00. The cost is $10 each with a maximum of 8 people per table. You can still come even if you haven’t reserved a table ahead of time or don’t have a full table. Just come out and have some fun.
Thank You for Your Help
As most of you already know, last Friday we had a tremendous crowd at the play. Before the play even started, they had wiped out our bake sale items. Thankfully, many people answered our cry for more baked goods for Saturday night, and once again we had two full tables of items. These also sold all but just a few items in the end. Over all, we took in just over $800 for the lunch fund throughout the baked sale. What a blessing! Thank you.
Nichole will have a link for us soon. She has gone with another online company so it takes a little longer to prepare them.
PTL Meeting Change
Because of other commitments, it will be hard for members to meet together Tuesday evening. Instead, when you pick up your children from school at 3:15, please meet together for just a few brief minutes to discuss what you can donate to help out with the Easter breakfast.
Easter Breakfast Changes
Because our PTL is growing ever smaller making it hard to cover all of the work needed for Easter breakfast, we are going to make some changes this year. We still want the congregation to enjoy gathering together before/after church to fellowship, but we are going to be serving a lighter breakfast. You can anticipate coffee cakes, fruit, and egg casserole along with juice and coffee. Hope you will all still enjoy the meal, and we appreciate your understanding why the change is being made.
Would anyone be interested in sponsoring our news program? We will gladly let everyone know that our news is being brought to you that week by your business. For just $3/week we can boost our news program to Facebook viewers in our general area. It could be a great way to advertise our school and activities (play) as well as your business.
To See A Miracle DVD
If you missed our performance last week or would just like a keepsake, you may purchase a DVD copy of it in the office for $5.
Look Us Up On Facebook
You will find a link on our website or search for Kay Hall and find a link to the Christ Lutheran School page. Feel free to spread the word to grandparents, so they can keep up, too. It also helps to have you like the postings so that we are sure that people are seeing them. You’ll definitely want to catch our newest postings starting on Fridays!
Shoes and the Gym Floor
We have been having a lot more problems with shoes leaving marks on the gym floor this year. Please be sure that your child’s shoes are not causing those scuffs, and if they are please send other shoes for them to wear at recess/PE time.
Don't Forget to Upload Your Pictures to the Yearbook Site
Remember you can upload pictures for the yearbook committee to use in the 2015-2016 yearbook at Shutterfly.com. The log in for the school account is email@example.com. The password is yearbook.
After School Care
Mrs. Kettner is doing our after school care this year. If you need to contact her, please try both the school number (in case she is in the gym) and/or her cell number 618-534-6526 (in case she is outside). Pleaqse send a note if you know in advance that you child(ren) will be going home a different way than usual. Thank you for your help in making her job easier.
PTL Sign Up Sheets
The sign up sheet for parent volunteers at our PTL functions are available on the bulletin board in the front hallway. Each family needs to sign up to help with at least one activity. There are limited spots so the sooner you sign up for your event the better.
