To See A Miracle
Wildcat Weekly 2/23/18
Bake Sale at the Play
Again, we will be setting up a bake sale during the adult’s play. We like to have items that the audience can either snack on during the performance or take home to enjoy the next morning. So, items like cookies, brownies, coffee cakes, etc. are good choices. Please be sure to package whatever you make on paper plates inside of plastic bags. If the bake good is not obvious, it is often nice to label what you have inside. Dates for the sale are Friday & Saturday March 2, 3, 9, & 10. You can send in items on Friday with your child or drop them off when you pick them up from school. Thank you for your help.
The School Board will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day themed Trivia Night on Friday, March 16. Questioning will start at 7:00. Get together some people you like to have fun with, decorate your table, and bring along some snacks. We will have sodas and simple concessions available for sale.
Would anyone be interested in sponsoring our news program? We will gladly let everyone know that our news is being brought to you that week by your business. For just $3/week we can boost our news program to Facebook viewers in our general area. It could be a great way to advertise our school and activities (play) as well as your business.
To See A Miracle DVD
If you missed our performance last week or would just like a keepsake, you may purchase a DVD copy of it in the office for $5.
We are just a couple of weeks away from the Jacob Players’ performance of Virgil’s Wedding. Last year was outstanding! You would be very disappointed if you miss them this year. Performances are March 2, 3, 9, & 10 at 7:00
Spring Pictures Are Coming
Our Spring Picture Day is set up for Monday, March 12. Please remember that it is important for students to have their sports uniforms on that day so that we can take pictures of our teams.
Look Us Up On Facebook
You will find a link on our website or search for Kay Hall and find a link to the Christ Lutheran School page. Feel free to spread the word to grandparents, so they can keep up, too. It also helps to have you like the postings so that we are sure that people are seeing them. You’ll definitely want to catch our newest postings starting on Fridays!
Shoes and the Gym Floor
We have been having a lot more problems with shoes leaving marks on the gym floor this year. Please be sure that your child’s shoes are not causing those scuffs, and if they are please send other shoes for them to wear at recess/PE time.
Don't Forget to Upload Your Pictures to the Yearbook Site
Remember you can upload pictures for the yearbook committee to use in the 2015-2016 yearbook at Shutterfly.com. The log in for the school account is firstname.lastname@example.org. The password is yearbook.
After School Care
Mrs. Kettner is doing our after school care this year. If you need to contact her, please try both the school number (in case she is in the gym) and/or her cell number 618-534-6526 (in case she is outside). Pleaqse send a note if you know in advance that you child(ren) will be going home a different way than usual. Thank you for your help in making her job easier.
PTL Sign Up Sheets
The sign up sheet for parent volunteers at our PTL functions are available on the bulletin board in the front hallway. Each family needs to sign up to help with at least one activity. There are limited spots so the sooner you sign up for your event the better.
